What should I talk about in my animal cruelty project

I am a very stormy beloved that animal testing is wrong! But I don't know exactly what to write about!
This is what I have so far:

Why it is wrong
The species they test on
Some brands that test on animals

The best way to catch attention and write a persuasive essay is to do research on both sides and write from a professional view. Whatever you do, do not bash the opposition, even though you strongly disagree with them. Bashing the oppposition usually leads to a weak paper. The best paper is one that proves why you're right, not why they are wrong. You should look into animal testing- see why they do it, why they choose the animals they do, the history of it and why they chose animals. Find good quotations from scientists or reporters or people who agree with it and quote them. For example " Suzanne Something, a professional chemical engineer, said "It is better to test on animals because _______". Then you can counteract that statement, without using your own voice in the sense that you could research your side of the argument and finish that example sentence with "Yet, Mark Something, of the Humane Society believes that it is a cruel thing to do to animals." Just give plenty of examples, and reasons, and quotes and you can search out specific things to make your essay strong and powerful.
Lastly, you can use very strong and pushy words as long as you aren't flat out insulting the opposition. Try looking up for some essays already written on this topic and see what techniques they used too. Good luck, and great subject matter!
