Reflected light, how could it relate to time travel

I have given it some thought, and I decided that time travel is not as easy to define as some thing it is. First the concept of time, then the concept of time travel.

I decided that looking into a mirror might be a primitive way of looking at time travel. A mirror image, at first I thought it was teleportation, then I began to realize that traveling by some sort of light acceleration or deceleration or energy was very similar to a physical concept of time travel.

No, I don't make sense, I know, I apologize I suppose. I never picked up a psychics book in my entire life...

Moving to Point A and B without crossing space, a method through light , makes me relate a teleportation method of that sort to a time travel method.

I'm just curious guys and girls I'm not a mean, rude guy so don't jump down my throat. I'm just interested. I don't claim to be on your level, and I'm simply asking for answers to my questions. I only hope that some one can understand what I'm trying to ask and I can learn something.

Look at the stars and realize that you are looking at light that can be millions and billions of years old. So you are looking at the past.

Well, if you had picked up a "psychics" book, (sorry but that one was just too cute to resist),
you'd know that an image is not an object, light doesn't accelerate, but you do
seem to have intuitively stumbled correctly onto the concept that the speed of light is
intimately bound up with the concept of time travel.
Beyond that I'm afraid you're playing mind games with yourself.

An interesting sidelight - the ancient Egyptians believed that the reflection off of gold showed the way into the spirit world.
