Jackie M say: 10mg wont do anything, I have been taking Propranolol for several years and started with 40mg 3 times per day but now only take 40mg once a day and it has never caused weight gain

say: that's an extremely low dose , it's unlikely to do anything

say: Hi. I take 80mg a day and I've gained no weight at all and don't know anyone that has. The manufacturers have to list every single possible side effect however unlikely it is. I used to take medication for my bipolar that had 'death' as a possible side effect and that did make me stop and think! Do give the Propranolol a go and if it doesn't suit you after a couple of weeks of trying it's safe to discontinue without tapering.

Muke say: You shouldn’t be worrying about gaining weight while on this medication. If you do gain weight, it will be you’re fault. YOU’RE probably a pig who’s eating too much. Put the fork down and you won’t have this problem.

Andrea say: Ask to switch or try to get off of it. There are other ways to help anxiety
