Is air in a syringe really a bad thing if injecting into a bein?
I'm a student nurse and too many times my colleague leaves air in the syringe. I say nothing because I'm just a student and don't want to look rude. a little air in a syringe doesn't really do any harm does it?

Papa say: That small amount of air would not hurt someone. A nurse told me it would take an I.V. bag full of air to kill someone.

Diane A say: It may not be air, it may be actually a vacuum. You need to ask before you assume. Also if it’s IM, it’s not a problem
