Why am I not dead?
Hi, I am a 17 year old female. Last year I took around 18,000 mg of tylenol and 5,000 of advil in less than an hour. Every week after that I would take a few thousand at least. 4 months ago i stopped doing that but started back a few weeks ago recently. 3 nights ago I took 30,000 mg of tylenol in one sitting along...

k w say: perhaps a blessing from above, you may however help heal you liver thru various ways, milk thistle, and drinking organic aloe-vera-juice, for a long time, 4-8 oz per day for 6 mos or longer, but it will heal the liver slowly, which is usually bitter when you first drink it, but in time it starts to fade in strength, BUT that is a clue your liver is slowly healing, the less bitter tasting it becomes, the healthier your liver becomes as well......kinda like a built in guage for you

say: 30,00mg Tylenol is a fatal dose but it takes 2 weeks for your liver to fail and symptoms such as jaundice to develop. It's far too late for the antidote so if you have any doubts about dying, and it will be drawn out and excruciating, you need to go to the hospital immediately for liver function tests and to get on the organ donor list. Your best bet is to receive a lobe of liver from a living donor. The liver grows to full size in you and regrows in the donor. Do you have a sibling willing to donate?

Laurie say: Your body may very well be "messed up". Just because you can't detect the damage doesn't mean there IS no damage. That's why physicians have to use diagnostic tests like xrays, cat scans, lab work, and MRIs to "see" what they cannot see without those tests.
