Through the neovagina as opposed to the rectum in post-operative male-to-female transsexuals? Personally I would think it would be less embarassing--just sayin!

The rectal wall is thinner and hence offers a much more detail when the examiner feels the prostate through it. And the most commonly enlarged lobe (statistically) lies right next to the rectal wall. It'll be better through the rectum, and i think they most likely remove the prostate during a sex conversion? (not sure on this one.)
