You see, i'm doing a research involved assignment for school and I want to know what happens to aborted babies. It has to do with my research on Stem Cells and i'm supposed to decide whether I am for or against stem cell research, but one form of stem cell research involves using the remains of aborted children, so I just want to know what initially would happen to an aborted child so I can decide whether I think it is a good thing or a bad thing. My argument would be that if an aborted child's remains are just going to be thrown away anyways, we might as well use them to possibly save another person's life, since abortion is going to happen anyways, might as well make it so that it isn't completely a waste of someone's life, right?
Again, I only want to know what happens to their remains. I don't want to spark some sort of debate. I don't care if you are pro-life or pro-choice, because that isn't what i'm asking. The only reason i'm even asking here is because I can't seem to find a decent website with an unbiased opinion that gives me the info I need. So, please just answer my question and thanks in advance.

All surgically removed tissue must be considered bio hazardous and be disposed of in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. A proper protocol for tissue disposal must be in place.
It depends on where you live, but that I've seen it's basically the same kind of tank as dentists use to store what they suck out of your mouth.
An important thing to remember is that people aren't aborting children just to provide for stem cell research.
