Ill use Toa (tangent of angle is equal to opposite over adjacent) for this problem. This means that the Tan(42) = 13.84/x. You can swap the x and the Tan(42) to get x= 13.84/Tan(42). x= 15.......
Impossible to give a numerical answer without knowing one of the sides of the triangle (like in question number 7). I think you forgot a number.

Q7: You should've learned about Soh Cah Toa by now. I'll use Toa (tangent of angle is equal to opposite over adjacent) for this problem. This means that the Tan(42) = 13.84/x. You can swap the x and the Tan(42) to get x= 13.84/Tan(42). x= 15.37m
