To do so, multiply both sides of the formula by 3.......
Okay so for math class we have to solve this problem that i just dont get:
The equation v=(1/3)bh gives the volume v of the pyramid. where b is the area of the base and h is the height. solve this equation for b.

Get rid of thefraction, so b and h is by itself. To do so, multiply both sides of the formula by 3.
3v=bh

Divide by h
3v/h = b

b = 3v/h
