i'm going to be a freshman and i checked out my student handbook for my high school. it said that i had to have 2 semesters of A's in both algebra 1 and geometry to get into algebra 2/ trig honors. but i have a B in the first semester of geometry becuz i was in a pre-calc course in middle school because it became a magnet school. and the geometry class was difficult. but the second semester. i got an A. and i've heard that taking a challenging course and getting a B is better than taking a normal class and receiving an A. so since i took a challenging course, will i be able to get into algebra 2/ trig honors?

Has to do with your teacher. He/She and the school decides you can also request it too. I got all A's even a 102.7 and 98 and I had to take an honors cumulative to pass I got an B so I got in.
