Please help me with these two problems, I'm stuck.

Instructions: write an equation of a line in slope intercept form having the given conditions.

A. The slope is 4 and the line passes through (2, -3).

B. The line passes through (4, -2) and (-6, 8).

A. slope 4 gives you y = 4x + b. to get b, plug in the point.
∙ ∙ -3 = 4(2) + b
∙ ∙ -11 = b ∙ ∙ ∙ ∙ ∙ ∙ so y = 4x - 11

B. change in y, -2 → 8, is +10
∙ ∙ change in x, 4 → -6, is -10 ∙ ∙ ∙ ∙ so slope is 10/-10 = -1
∙ ∙ then y = -x + 2
