Equations using slope and y-intercept

You have m and the y-intercept. Thus you would use y=mx+b. Y-intercept=b.1. Y=3x-4.2.......
I have two questions that I need help with. Write an equation for the line with each give slope and y-intercept. Step by step would be greatly appreciated. 1. m=3, y-intercept -4 2. m=5, y-intercept 0. thanks ;o)

The hint here is that it asks for the equation of a line with these given specifications. You have m and the y-intercept. Thus you would use y=mx+b. Y-intercept=b. Thus
1. Y=3x-4.
2. Y=5x+0

Y=3X-4

Y=5X
