I'm being haunted and have no clue what to do

So here's the situation. I live alone in a small apartment that was built two years ago in New York. I have been feeling cold drafts around the kitchen by the stove when I'm baking and such when I should only feel heat. This happens all of the time with windows both open and closed. Also, I had a compass laying on my table one day and it started spinning around and around. Another thing that happened is when my cousin came over she brought her dog who's very old. (My apartment is dog friendly). This dog never barks, growls, etc. but when he came into the kitchen area of my apartment he went ballistic growling and barking and even foaming at the mouth (and no. It's not rabies). The last thing that happens out of the norm is when I cook (which I do a lot) and leave food out for even a minute often bites are missing from my food when i turn around. Like, one time I fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches, went to the bathroom for about two minutes, and came back and the food was gone. (I don't have pets of my own btw.) I got fed up with this crap happening so I told the "ghost" to show himself. Sure enough he did. He had black hair gelled back, sideburns, was wearing a white rhinestone covered jumpsuit thing, and a crooked grin. He then disappeared, and I haven't talked to him or asked to see him since then, but my food keeps disappearing at higher rates. I have no clue what the heck to do. Who is this ghost, what is he trying to prove, and how do I make him leave?

I think you should make up a new story, this is the third time I have seen this.

If you want people to believe you try making it just a tad more realistic.
