Have you ever thought about what was around long ago before earth or universe was around

Okay really werid question but have you really ever thought about that? Or is it just me? Like before anything that came to earth or what happend in the galaxy/universe long before?! Or was everything just blank and was made by god? This just really confuses me because they say "god made planets/everything" so what do you guys think?

Why yes, I have thought about that haha. It's a question that has no answer, and might never be answered. Some say there was nothing, pure oblivion. Some say that to have been a "before" existence, there must be time, a measurement of physical change, which would make it impossible for there to be nothing. I think our present state is an infinite state of existence, expanding and imploding and starting over and over.

Stephen Hawking has talked about this a great bit, a very interesting subject. The Grand Design would be a good book for you to read if you're interested in this stuff.

Wouldn't you prefer to know what was around before you were born?

It's called history. It has the tangible benefit of being supported by copious volumes of data in the guise of photographs, documents, artifacts and inscriptions.

It actually has some practical value. People study it professionally. Most of them are respected.

That's the age old question that prompted the creation of gods or God in a society as people wanted an answer but did not have one. It's one of those paradoxes cause if there was a beginning then what was there before and if there was something before, when did that begin...
