That means 15 block can lay on the bottom. And multiply 15 by 2 for the double stack and get 30 blocks.......
i have no idea how to do this, please help?!
A company makes building bricks for children.
The bricks are all 5cm cubes.
The bricks are going to be packed in boxes.
John designs a box for the bricks.
The box is a cuboid.
The size of the box is 25cm by 15cm by 12cm.
Will the box be big enough for 36 bricks?
You must give reasons for your answer.

Please help and explain the answer in the simplest way possible!

No. You can only fit 30 because if the blocks are 5x5x5 and you make you base 15x25 and the height of the box 12, that means you can only fit 2 blocks stacked on top of each other. That gives you 10 cm. You have 2 cm remaining in the height so you can't have 3 stacks. The win the 15x25
Divide both by five to see how many 5 cm blocks you can have each.way, I got 3x5. That means 15 block can lay on the bottom. And multiply 15 by 2 for the double stack and get 30 blocks. And hat means that there is not enough room in the box for 36-5cm blocks
