Could someone solve this for me please 2t-4=9

2t -4 =9
add 4 to -4 to cancel it out
so now you have 2t=9
BUT since you added 4 on one side of the equals sign, you have to add it on the other.
so add 4 to 9
2t=9+4
2t = 13
divide 13 by two and that will be what t equals
if you still don't get it, ask a sibling, parent/guardian, adult, teacher, friend or relative. having it explained in person will make it much easier.
don't get frusturated with them and ask them alot of questions if you have them

2t - 4 = 9

t = 6.5

+4 +4 to both sides to cross out the 4 on the left side.
2t=13
divde by 2 on the both sides so u only have t on the left.
t=6.5
