A ferris wheel had a diameter of 250 ft. its 36 passenger cabs could hold a total of 2160 people. if the cabs were evenly spaced how far apart would they be?

You basically need to get the circumference of the Ferris wheel and divide that by 36.

250*3.14(pi) = 785
785/36 = 21.806 ft

If you want the shortest distance (straight line from cab to cab) instead of an arc length, that would be 21.7889 ft
