i have1 question i don't get on my homework, theres 2 parts to it.

A small glass holds 3/5 cup of water.
A jug holds 10 cups of water.

Part A) All you need to do is 10 divided by 3/5. That gives you 16 2/3 small glasses. Since you can't have 2/3 of a glass, i would say 16 glasses.

Part B) So for small, do 8 divided by 3/5, which gives you 13 1/3 cups, or 13 cups. Just figure out for large cup in part B by dividing 8 by 5/6. This gives you 9 3/5 so 9 cups. So 13 glasses of small and 9 cups of large.

1. 10 cups/ 3/5 cup = 10 x 5/3 = 50/3 cups or 16 2//3.

2. 8 divided 5/6 = 8 x 6/5 = 48/5 or 9 1.3.
