Hello,

2/3(6X-9)+4>5X+1

1st step: Get rid of the fraction by multiplying the entire inequality by 3 to get:

2(6x - 9) + (4*3) > (5x + 1)*3

2nd step: Simplify to get:

12x - 18 + 12 > 15x + 3

3rd step: Take the ' 15x ' to the left side of the inequality and take both ' - 18 ' and ' + 12 ' to the right side of the inequality while changing their signs, to get:

12x -15x > +3 +18 -12

then simplify to get: -3x > +9
then divide both sides by (-3) but you need to change the inequality sign from '>' to ' < ' since you divide by a negative number to get:

(-3x)/(-3) < (+9)/(-3) so, x < -3
