f(x) = -7 + 1 and g(x) = x

1) f(x) + g(x)

2) f(x) - g(x)

3) f(x) times g(x)


f(x)= 2x^2 and g(x)= x - 2

EXAMPLE ---

2( x - 2 )^2 ----> (2x - 4)^2 ----> (2x - 4)(2x-4) ----> 4x^2 + 16

It's all substitution.
For the first set, to give you an idea:
1. (-7 + 1) + (x)
2. (-7 + 1) - (x)
3. (-7 + 1)(x)
Solving should be straightforward.
