Please help.. how to be good at math

School is starting in 3 more days.. I cant afford to fail math again as this is my senior year and dont want summer school math, i just wanna finish quick..
now here is my problem... math is my WORST subject. Im good at other subjects but this is my worst.. I never passed math class "properly" I always had credit recovery classes to make it up.. and now for senior math its going to be a challenge.. how do I make myself better in math? (geometry, trigonometry) ? math is just matrix numbers to me, and my brain is very slow in calculating numbers. Dont say to get a tutor or friend.. all my friends are busy/no help and no money for tutor

Well, that is a really tough question...
I myself am good at math, it is one of my best subjects.
I pay attention in class, do the assignment at home, and sometimes look back at the lesson in my book.
Sometimes schools have tutoring programs that don't cost money...

That is kind of the best i can do to answer that question...

My advice is to take notes whenever your teacher goes over something: goes over the lesson, a problem in homework. Write down vocabulary, formulas, examples in the books. Basically you have to learn to take really good math notes. I find it helpful to look at math videos on youtube to figure things out.

well take clear notes and most importantly do a lot of practice problems! and if you don't understand them look at the examples in the book or those given to you by teachers look for patterns, use common sense take your problems step by step so you know what to ask a question about if you get stuck.

Get a textbook and do problems in it. If you don't understand go back in the textbook and read the part where it explains it. It takes a lot of self-motivation and it is tiresome work, but you will be rewarded if you keep it up.

Practice working out simple maths problems mentally.
