triangle abc is congruent to triangle def. also side ab = ef. what type of triangle is abc? explain
please help!

Isosceles..hmm explain...abc is congruent to def means that ab=de, bc=ef, and ac=df.... but also ab=ef
ab=de and ab=ef therefore de=ef, in a triangle if two sides are equal its isosceles
def is isosceles, as abc congruent to def, ABC is also ISOSCELES
ab=de and ab=ef therefore de=ef, in a triangle if two sides are equal its isosceles
def is isosceles, as abc congruent to def, ABC is also ISOSCELES

it would be isoceles because if ABC equals DEF that means side AB=DE, BC=EF, and CA=FD. so if AB=EF, that would mean AB=BC, so there you have it. an isoceles triangle.

The same kind of triangle as DEF? lol. Is there a picture?
