I wanted to know if I did this problem right can anybody tell me

Find the x-and y- intercept -4x-5y=30
-4x-5y=30 -4x-5y=30
-4(0)-5y=30 -4x-5(0)=30
0-5y=30 -4x-0=30
5y=30 -4x=30
y=6 x=-7.5 or- 8
(0,6) (-7.5 or -8, 0)

y-intercept means when x = 0 as follows:

-4x - 5y = 30 ==> x = 0
-4(0) - 5y = 30
0 - 5y = 30
-5y = 30
y = -6 ======> (0 , -6)

x-intercept means when y = 0 as follows:

-4x - 5y = 30 ==> y = 0
-4x - 5(0) = 30
-4x - 0 = 30
-4x = 30
x = 30/-4 = -15/2 = -7.5 ======> (-7.5 , 0) <==== agree NOT -8
