Artic Silver 5 thermal paste a good conductor

g. vibration etc. as it will never set.BTW, if you have a multimeter, switch to the ohms range and you can check the electrical conductivity by poking the probes into a sample of the paste.......
I was wondering if I could use Artic SIlver 5 thermal paste to bridge two electrical connections together! I dont have a soldering iron and I know silver is a good conductor of electricity but will Artic Silver 5 do the job?

I wouldn't recommend using it for that purpose. It might work in the short term, but certainly could not be relied on for very long, depending on the environment e.g. vibration etc. as it will never "set". It sounds like you should invest in a soldering iron :)

BTW, if you have a multimeter, switch to the ohms range and you can check the electrical conductivity by poking the probes into a sample of the paste.
