Where are african grasslands located and what are the names of those grasslands

In Africa, the tropical grasslands are called 'Savanna'.

- found between a tropical rainforest and desert
- on either side of the equator
- have a wet and dry season - when the savanna above the equator is having the rainy season (summer) the one below the equator is having the dry season (winter) and visa-versa
