When my grandmother died my family and I went to sort out her possessions before selling her house. It was only about a week after her death and we planned to sleep over whilst sorting out her house. My grandma was a very clean woman and her house was always spotless. However the night we stopped we entered the room that I were to sleep in and the most terrible smell of urine hit us as we opened the door, it was so strong it made us gag, even when the windows were open it did not leave. My cousin actually vomited after fleeing from the room. Can anyone explain this and what experiences have you had.

Yes, my mother past away in June from cancer and over the summer I had a couple of interesting experiences though I cannot conclude 100% that they were paranormal related though I do consider them noteworthy. The first experiences I had one evening when I was on my computer. I was just sitting at my chair, typing something when I felt what seemed like a gentle stroke on the back of my left hand. It was a brief instance but I did pause to recognize the occurrence. The second encounter occurred a couple of nights later when I was laying on my sofa. I was laying down on my back with the television on when I felt another gentle stroke but this was across my chest. I felt it clearly and I did certainly think that along with the other occurrence that this could be an indication of someones presence, perhaps being my mothers. I do know that numerous individuals encounter after death communications from past friends and loved ones and this is surely a big part of the over all phenomenon so I do leave open for this to of been possibly what I had encountered as well. Take care.

Houses that have been shut up for a while can smell quite funky. Even your bedroom can have terrible odour to others in the morning if you have been sleeping in there all night with the doors and windows closed.
Maybe your Gran was a bit incontinent? It's not the sort of thing she would have been mentioning in polite conversation.
I can't see there is anything paranormal about a bit of stink.

It was probably a sign from her but in a weird way,I haven't felt anything after death, but the night my grandad died I had the worst headache of my life, and in the morning we were told he had died in the night, that was weird.

I stood in the middle of the highway one night and waited for a car to plow into me and 2 years later one of my friends died after he was hit by a car while trying to cross the highway on foot.

The smell of sulfur perhaps. Just gases that remained from the dead body.
