the energy released by the breakdown of glucose is stored in the cell by ATP molecules.ATP stands for Adenosine Triphosphate.This molecule is popularly called the energy currency of the cell.
now what happens is that the released energy due to glucose breakdown is stored in the chemical bonds of the ATP molecule and whenever the body would require energy the chemical bonds in the ATPmolecules will be broken to provide our body with energy to carry out its regular function.
The above mechanism is just like us saving money to meet our requirements
