Sorry, can't think of a specific Web Site, unless The National Geographic Society or the Chicago Museum of Natural History.
But, the Dinosaurs adapted the same way all other species adapted - through genetic mutation. The ones that 'worked' in the changing environment were the ones that survived. Also, the ones that became SMALLER are the ones that survived. The largest Dinosaurs were much larger than the largest animals, today - Whales , Elephants, etc.,
Also consider that Dinosaurs had around 150 MILLION years to adapt to a changing Earth, while us Humans & Primates in general have only been around for about ONE Million, or so.
Ultimately though the Dinosaurs Did Not adapt quick enough, except for a very small number of Little Ones, whose scales evolved into feathers, & we call them BIRDS. The rest died out about 65 Million years ago when the Earth was struck by a big rock from the sky that blasted many cubic MILES of dust into the atmosphere, essentially blocking most of the Sunlight World-Wide, so Photosynthesis stopped, plants died, then the vegetarian Dinos died for lack of food, then the predators died for lack of vegetarians to hunt. Also it got REAL COLD which didn't help their situation at all, due to all that dust in the air blocking heat from the Sun, for a few years. Eventually, the only animals left were small, because they could survive on less food , lower percentages of oxygen, due in part to the loss of plant life. A similar but much more serious event occurred around 225 Million years ago, that wiped out 98% of ALL Life on Earth.
