Calculating moles from volume and concentration

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 12-03-02] [Hit: ]
I know you use Moles = Volume x Concentration, however Im not sure what to divide/multiply by to ensure the units are correct.and Changing concentration we get 98.so multiplying we get 4, 374 x10^-6 x 98.4 x 10^-6 which equals to 4.......
I want to calculate the number of moles of a product.

Volume: 4,374µL
Concentration: 98.4µM

I know you use Moles = Volume x Concentration, however I'm not sure what to divide/multiply by to ensure the units are correct.

Thanks in advance

So changing Volume we get 4374 x 10^-6 L
and Changing concentration we get 98.4 x 10^-6 M
so multiplying we get 4, 374 x10^-6 x 98.4 x 10^-6 which equals to 4.30 x 10^-7
