Our moon is getting further away, are we getting further away from the sun?

Looking at these answers, there are some fairly ignorant people around!
The Earth is moving away from the Sun - due to the Suns mass loss - at a mere 15cm per year.
That means that in a hundred years, we will be almost 15 metres further away - hardly worth worrying about.

We are in a fairly stable orbit, moving closer and further away from the sun at times. The sun is getting larger though. Very slowly, but it is getting larger.

neither, the planet's orbit is always stable. the sun will get CLOSER to us when it's fuel empties and becomes a red giant till it explodes and die. but the will be in millions of years

I too am surprised at the other answers. Though it's not a significant change, The earth does get a little bit further away, as the more knowledgeable poster said, about 15 cm per year.
