J is half wrong: Bills answer is perfect, and Js is wrong.......
at the game farm,there are a total of 48 rabbits ,chickens,and sheep.there are half as many sheep as rabbits, and three times as many chickens as sheep.how many of each animal are there?

-
There are 2 rabbits for every sheep
There are 3 chickens for every sheep
So if sheep = x
Then rabbits = 2x
Chickens = 3x
We know there is a total of 48 so:
x + 2x + 3x = 48
6x = 48
x = 8
Sheep = 8
Rabbits = 16
Chickens= 24

-
J is half right: it's not very hard.
J is half wrong: Bill's answer is perfect, and J's is wrong.

-
R + C + S = 48

R/2 = S
R = 2S

3S = C

2S + 3S + S = 48
6S = 48
S = 8
C = 24
R = 16
