414 liters per mole.0.1 moles would occupy 2.2.2414 liters = 2241.Find a cardboard tube and measure the diameter and divide by two and solve the above equation for h to determine how long the tube must be.......
"A cardboard tube having the same volume as 0.10 mole of H2 (g) at STP
"
What equations am I suppose to use for this?
I am not sure where and how I can find that. Please help me on this, its for a scavenger hunt.

The molar volume of any gas at STP is 22.414 liters per mole.
0.1 moles would occupy 2.2414 liters
2.2414 liters = 2241.4 cubic centimeters
The volume of a cylinder can be calculated by pi * r^2 * h
Find a cardboard tube and measure the diameter and divide by two and solve the above equation for h to determine how long the tube must be.
A 10 cm (about 4 inches) diameter tube would give:
pi * 5^2 * h = 2241.4
3.14 * 25 * h = 2241.4
h = 2241.4/(3.14 * 25)
h= 28.51 cm
