(Nt/No) = 99.100-99.98 % => 0.02 % has decayed.......
I need some help understanding this chemistry question. What percent of a tritium sample will decay in one day? (half-life = 12.3 years) When you answer it, could you please explain how you got the answer, not just the answer?

12.3 years is 12.3*365.242199 days /yer = 4492.5 days
N(t) = No*(0.5)^(t/t12)
N(t)/No x100 %= 0.5^(1/4492.5) x100 %
(Nt/No) = 99.98 % is left
100-99.98 % => 0.02 % has decayed.
