I know the transition from liquid to solid is probably not easy to measure. I am not looking for an "exact" answer but a reasonably accurate one.

0॰C is the freezing point (at sea level pressure), so anything above that is liquid (up to 100॰C)

I think it is at 4॰C. Somewhere between 0 and 4 degrees, water, being cold and more dense, will go to the bottom. This process keeps ponds from freezing solid in the winter time.
