my mom was hard to get pregnant and i was wondering if that means i will be too.. it took her 12 years to get pregnant with me so does that mean it will be passed down to me?

There are so many unknown factors that would have to be determined to make a valid assessment of your concerns. For example, did your mother have regular menstrual cycles? Was she obese? Did she have a vaginal infection? May be your father's sperm count was low? irregular cycles are often involved when there is difficulty in conception.
I wouldn't worry about the problem if your cycles are normal and you are healthy. Don't assume you will have the same problem as your mother and have an unplanned pregnancy.

theres a small chance you could have a problem, but definitely talk to your doctor when you're trying to get pregnant.
