In the womb, both boys and girls begin their growth as a girl template, so to speak. The genes on the y chromosome (found only in males) are expressed a little later on. They essentially convert the template to a male, and the nipples are left behind as a remnant.
-
they are vestigeal in that male and female fetuses are pretty much identical for a while and many of our genitalia tissues are identical to the comparable parts in the other. Male nipples are often quite sensitive and play a important part in sexual arousal.
-
The point of having nipples is that they are sensitive, so when someone licks them or nibbles on them it's gonna feel good, don't believe me go ahead and try it And correction on the fact about hormones and beast, dude that's just all fat trust me I'm in school I would know!
-
Well both male and females are born with breast but the male chest just have the nipples because we lack a certain hormone that causes the mammary glands and other relevant elements to grow and develop. The females have this hormone, so their breast develop.
