i have one blue eye and one eye that is half blue and half brown
im in biology now and i know it has to be either codominance or incomplete dominance but i do not know which one
can someone tell me which one it is please? thanks a bunch

you have sectoral heterochromia part of one iris is a different color from its remainder its cause is excess or lack of melanin it may be inherited or caused by genetic mosaicism disease or injury and its incomplete because in full heterochromia one eyes is a completely different color than the other one

I am not sure that would really be considered either of those options. But if those are your only options I would pick codominance (see the source I listed below for you).
Its could be an issue of mosaic tissues. That is different cells are expressing different versions of the pigment gene. This could be either an epigenetic thing or because of a somatic mutation that occurred during development (that is you should have had brown eyes but during early development one of your cells had a mutation that knocked out the brown pigment gene, thus your eyes developed some from this original cell and also from others). All of this is just educated speculation on my part - I am a graduate student in genetics but I don't know for sure.

It's not necessarily a mutation. It is called heterochromia iridum, where the irises are not the same colour. Because one of your eyes has two colours, it is sectoral heterochromia.

I'd say your mutation is Heterochromia iridum, and its usually inherited as an autosomal dominant trait. (I would't say mutation, I think 2 diff. colored eyes is awsome)

You have heterochromia.
