That's differs from our acceleration in a car. The car seat is applying a body surface force that accelerates us. Our necks are applying the force that accelerates our heads. Our neck muscles have to counter that force if our heads are not to flop back against the headrest. It is the countering action of the muscles that one feels as the acceleration.

Matt say: Because the speed IS constant. Earth doesnt decellerate or accelerate through space. If you are in a plane, car, bus, etc moving at a constant speed you barely feel anything.

The acceleration from the Earth motion around the sun is about 0.0006 g's. That's equivalent to a 65 kg person gaining or losing 4 grams on a daily cycle. There's no way you could notice that without special instruments.
