I understand that the big bang happened when the universe was a singularity...and theres not much for a singularity to do...theyre is no passage of time so they just sit there being a singularity.

Well today there are many singularities (i.e. black holes) scattered around the universe.

Should we consider it a possible threat to national security should one of these singularities decide to start creating a universe? Or do they somehow know that this has already been done?

p.s.: suggested category: rap and hip-hop

The singularity that supposedly created the universe contained all the energy of the universe. Not all singularities are equal.

I dont know why a singularity would blow out in the first place. All singularities stay collapsed because that is what gravity does. But why did the big bang happen? I dont know.

just because the two phenomenon happen to have the same name doesn't mean that they are in ANY way the same thing.

the thing you pull a horse around on is called a lead... the dense heavy grey metal with atomic number 82 is called lead... they are in NO way similar.

its just a linguistic coincidence... really... look it up.

When you say how common they are, you have to define the time frame. Obviously in our time frame there has only been the one. Whether they are occurring all the time or whether ours was just one of a series of bounces is unknown

I usually get about 1 per month.
