Why..................

The question about why is there anything at all is the most interesting ... it's quite bizarre really when you think about it. And why is the universe as it is vs. another way?

As for god, this is a simple answer to explain the unknown. But science is a method to explain the physical universe, so slowly we pose theories, and then build experiments and tools to test the theories, and over time build up a book of actual facts (vs. religion's stories and beliefs).

So you've been told god created everything, but of course no one has constructed a reasonable theory for a god or a creator such that an experiment could be devised to test that theory. As such, god remains a philosophy or wishful thinking.
