Why won't google maps show Chernobyl

I'm interested after seeing Chernobyl Diaries.
I'm trying to Street Walk Chernobyl, Ukraine but Google Maps won't let me. Why won't it zoom in?

In order to put something on Earth, Google has to send a team out to video the area. Chernobyl is still seriously off limits. I don't think they could even fly over it.

So you clearly took nothing from the film, as inaccurate as it may be. The Chernobyl disaster resulted in the emission of huge amounts of radioactive material into the atmosphere. It is still moderately dangerous to visit today. Large sections of area around the plant are administered as an exclusion zone which is illegal and unsafe to travel through, meaning Google weren't allowed or didn't feel it was practical to obtain Street View imagery for the area

Probably because there are no street walking photos of it.Same as other locations on google maps, some have fotos, some don`t.Or it was too dangerous to take fotos after the nuclear accident, and still may be so.
