Ok so I'm watching a programme and it says black holes can explode or something along those lines but isn't a black hole essentially a rip in space time and is the after effect of and explosion/implosion and if they do explode or whatever what happens to it does space-time fix itself or does the black hole get bigger? Sorry if my physics is wrong if you can tell me the correct way as einstiens theory has been proven wrong I believe so what I think on the universe is mixed up

Black holes created now are the result of a large star collapsing in on itself when it runs out of fuel and cools (not accurae but close)
It is thought that micro black holes may have formed in the big bang. These objets are tiny in size but massive in mass. According to Stephen Hawking these micro black holes can emit radiation (Hawking Radiation - again complex resons). This emission of radiation decreases the mass of the micro black hole - there comes a point when there is no longer sufficient mass to remain as a black hole and the remaining mass is released in a large burst of inense radiation.
Space time can be bent by a sufficiantly large or dense mass of matter, this bend is what forms the black hole. It does not tear or rip.
Einsteins General Theory of Relativaty is rock solid and not disproven. The Special Theory of Relativity was always known to be flawed and has been replaced by the Standard Model, this also has flaws and may be replaced. A theory having flaws does not disprove the theory. All theories have gaps and lfaws, they are only descriptions of the universe.
there are no laws, just observations and models. perhaps we will reach a model that adequatelly describes the observed universe but we are not there yet.

I know very little on the subject
A black hole is just a Large collapsed object (Huge star) and this object gets pulled in by its own gravity, it drags more and more matter into it increasing its gravity and increasing its density.
