But when people build a particle accelerator. you collide more particles and use the earth colliding protons theory. Thats overflowing the cup without thinking of the results.-No, it doesnt pose a threat.Billions of particles from space collide with the Earth each day that are a great deal faster than any speed to which man can accelerate particles.......
Oh and Happy Holidays, even though someone on the wrong side of the war on christmas doesn't deserve a festive greeting.

First of all, let's use our common sense. If you have a cup of water and you put water in it, you will not fill it right because it might make the floor wet. If you did add some more water and didn't think of the result you will get the result you didn't think of.
Now, Let us use the Cup of water with regular amount of water to represent earth. It collides particles but it doesn't cause a threat. But when people build a particle accelerator. you collide more particles and use the earth colliding protons theory. That's overflowing the cup without thinking of the results.

No, it doesn't pose a threat.
Billions of particles from space collide with the Earth each day that are a great deal faster than any speed to which man can accelerate particles. This has been going on day after day for billions of years without destroying the Earth.

Well, you wouldn't want to stand in the beam path (not that you could). The thing is basically a high-energy particle beam on a leash.
Apart from that, no. There's no real threat to it. But, predictably, people who are scientifically illiterate are scared of it.

No your absolutly safe, the only risk to the human race is ignorant goverments who fail the people and mother earth. more chance of a war killing the human race, so dont be worried. lol x

we have had colliders (particle accelerators)since about 1927.... noticed any threats from them?...no?... well, none to expect from the Hadron, either.....

Yes. The LHC ( Large Hadron Collider) does threaten the earth. Though many nuclear plants have been set up and have been used for many years, this one is risky because the particles produce higher amount of energy. Moreover, if the reaction goes out of control, a tremendous explosion might be set off that can cause great destruction
