Does the moon grow over time

-no, not that much. after the collision it leaves some semicircular portions. it does not effect the mass of moon that much.-It is not gaining enough mass to have a significant change on Earths tides.-yeah ,......
I am aware that our moon is constantly bombarded by micrometeorites, so is it growing?
If it grows significantly, would it have an effect on the earth's tides?

-
One or two kilograms of additional mass per year wouldn't make a noticeable difference. Plus, the moon is getting further and further away each year by few centimeters.

-
the earth acquires thousands of tons of mass on a yearly basis from meteorite strikes and dust. compared to the overall mass of the earth; it is probably not significant over the lifetime of the planet. same applies to the moon.

It is not gaining enough mass to have a significant change on Earth's tides.

-
