Metor in 2029 is it the end???

Honestly if it is a risk you can bet NASA is working on a way to prevent it. By then we might actually have a fully operational meteor deflection system. They are magnetic so it could be possible to repel or alter its orbit. They would probably send out a device to alter its orbit before it got too close. If we have the technology to do so by then.

The name is 99942 Apophis (2004 MN4). check out the orbit diagram at this link. NOTE: Allow a few minutes for the interactive graphic to load.

It is a Fly-by like the thousands it has done in the past. It orbits between Venus and Earth.

And yes, NASA does knows about it.

No, NASA did not say any such thing. It is a close pass; about 30,000 miles or something. There is a small risk that if it goes through a particular "window" of orbit it will be drawn closer to the Earth and return in only 6 -7 years. If that happens it will then be a real risk in 2036.

-
The great thing about "NASA said" statements, is you can always check and see if NASA actually said it. Here:

Hint: Look for high Torino scale numbers on the right-most column. 0's and 1's are nothing to worry about.

LIES. I highly doubt that.
End of world in 2000-FAIL
End of world a couple days ago-FAIL
End or world 2010-FAIL even thought it hasn't happened yet. don't worry. Live life, be happy. (:

Nothing, by the time it hits earth it would be the size of a pebble.

-
You heard rubbish. NASA said no such thing. Your brain's spam filter needs updating.

If I had a nickle for every time the world was supposed to end...
