If you approach too close to a hyperdense object (hypothesised to be a black hole), you will be crushed to a size smaller than an atom. Note that you will become exceptionally hot in the process.

White holes are a mathematical artifact caused by interpreting the equations of relativity too literally and without regard for other theories such as quantum mechanics and thermodynamics. You should refer to the reams of sci-fi that have been churned out on the subject for a fuller explanation.

As you approach a black hole:

~ You see just the starry background. The gravity from the black hole’s singularity curves light from other stars so you don’t even see a blank space ahead.

~ As you approach closer you do notice a black spot ahead without a starry field behind it and the normal star field background surrounding the spot looks stretched and blurry.

~ As you get closer, the black spot ahead of you seems to grow larger.

~ As the black blank spot ahead starts to fill up your field of view, the tidal force on the front of you is far stronger than on your back and you begin to stretch (and die).

~ Tidal forces cause your body to be drawn out into a thin string in a process called “spaghettification”. This curious word has become an actual scientific term. What’s left of the visible star field behind you shrinks to a spot. The rest is blackness and you can never see the singularity ahead of you.

~ Approaching the singularity, spaghettification has separated all of your subatomic particles. Tidal forces approach infinity and further effects are unknown.
