Is there life out there

It seems probable. There may even be (or had been) cellular life on other worlds and moons within our solar system.

But it is very unlikely for there to be any extra terrestrial technological intelligence in our galactic neighborhood in the same time frame as us that we would ever encounter one another.

Well theres no proof for both the answers.
But the thing is that if we see the size of the Universe, it is so big that it is not possible that we are alone here. It will be such a waste of energy to build such a big universe for just us. The extraterrestrial life may/may not be intelligent but there must be someone out there. They may or may not be peaceful. However we hope that if they're intelligent, they must be peaceful as we cant stop fighting each other how will we fight them!!! But thats off your question.

yeah sure.. we, humans do live on earth.. in the same way, there are zillions of planets in this vast universe. so life must do exist out there. there are planets which even resemble earth but, in the developing stage..

No astronomer has found life on another planet. But the universe is a big place.

Out where? Outside my window, not much. the odd squirrel. Outer space? Statistically highly likely. Somewhere.
