My hedgehog has these little ramp things in his cage so he can get to the other stories in the cage. Last night, his foot went through one of the holes in the ramp and he flipped upside down, hanging by his leg. He was screaming and my dad woke me up in the middle of the night so that I could help my hedgehog. So I got him out, gave him some treats, and he seemed fine. But this morning I noticed he was limping and falling on his face (it's his left front leg he hurt). So i was wondering if he broke his leg because when I look up pictures of hedgehogs in google, many of them have casts on their legs. Is it common for hedgehogs to break their legs?

Easily, especially when housed in a dangerous cage like that. They shouldn't have levels or ramps with holes in them. He needs to go to the VET and NOW.
