Is this heat wave going to end soon? NY

Is it one the worst temperature-wise summer?
I am sick and tired of this heat, humidity, and electric bill (with AC running whole day or so)

It does appear that a somewhat cooler pattern should begin by Monday. It'll still be warm next week but it should not be as hot as recently. Highs more in the 80's look a decent bet.

I live in neighboring Massachusetts, and this is my favorite type of weather, hot, hot hot!
this is the best summer temperature wise I have seen in quite a while

I only use the AC at night when I am trying to sleep, warm weather does keep me up at night. During the day, I leave it off

I hope we have an extra long, extra hot summer, and no winter
