Is a brick home safe if a tornado occurs

Some tornadoes have been known to travel up to 70MPH. Remember, REMAIN CALM!-I guess.......
No no home is safe if struck by a tornado.

Your best bet if in the path of a tornado is to go to the lowest level of the home, or into a doorway, closet, or into the bathtub, and stay away from windows, the extreme low pressure of the tornado will cause the glass to blow out and flying glass could hurt you.

A brick home is no safer than a wooden home if hit by a tornado.

All buildings are fairly safe if not directly in the path of the tornado, however high winds can still tear the roof apart or off the house brick or not, because the roof is wood on a brick or wooden home.

No a brick home is no safer than a regular home any time during a storm, but being inside out of the weather is safer than being outside.

No, a brick home can easily get destroyed by a tornado.

If the weather should get severe enough that you need to take shelter, remain calm. If possible get to the lowest level of the building/house and/or an interior room or area. This would be an area with no windows nor walls that share with the outside. Mobile homes/Double wides/Trailers are not safe places to be during a tornado or straight line winds. If you can, get to a sturdier building. If you can not get to a sturdier shelter, then find a low ditch or culvert and lay flat as can be face down. Do not try to outrun a tornado in a vehicle. Some tornadoes have been known to travel up to 70MPH. Remember, REMAIN CALM!
